Default NXT Spray Wax and Mod pics

Just washed my car with Turtle wash and wax combination. Then I applied the NXT spray wax and look at the shine below. Really like the key chain cover, a little flashy but hey "ITS A LEXUS". Got a little GPS navigation that fit pretty well and play movies too. I'm loving the clear blue liscense plate lenses, they matched with my car color well. I also got the clear bra on myself and only costed me $46 and 2.5 hours of labor. Brakes TSB done so no more brake dust. also added the puddle lights to LED, parking light to LED, red out signals. It looks great now, thinking about adding OEM spoiler but don't know if i should or not. Anyways:

you are one brave soul to put the clear bra on yourself! i am not worthy!

isn't it like doing window tint? where you have to wet the bra and let it dry like a decal? or is it simply a clear vinyl adhesive sticker?

Looks good... Breakwater Blue is such a nice colour. Would've been my second (or third) choice. I'd look into some new wheels though... I hate those stock 17s to be honest, especially because the AWD seems to sit much higher than other ISs.

What kind of nav is that by the way? It looks like a nice snug fit in there.

it's quite easy for me since I've put blue window tints on my old car before. same procedure as the clear bar and cheap. I don't like other people touching my car unless it's necessary. They tend to mess things up you know. But yeah, all you have to do is clean the hood, bumper, fender, mirror, lights, take plate off and clean, put soapy water on those places you just cleaned and wet the bra and apply. then squeze the water out and use a heat gun on low heat so that the bra will stick to the uneven places. for the bumper you have to cut the bra in half and the joint are actually covered by the plate and a small part on the bottom lip. that's it. found out about the cutting later on when everything is done which would make it much easier.

I will change wheels when my tires go out, which is not far since they will only be about 15000 miles because i drive in the city too much and braking all the time.
It's a NAV200 from Delphi and it fit down there and when you drive you can still see it clearly, which you won't have to because it speak to you. I'm planning on selling this so i could buy a pioneer deck. I'm probally gonna sell it for $230 since i got it for $349 4 months ago.

Thanks and by the way, do you happen to live around Rainier Seattle? I've ran into a white IS every now and then coming the other direction and also a black IS and another Break Water Blue just like mine and a silver IS. So there are 4 IS around the seattle rainier area so far. There may be 2 black IS but the look the same and couldn't see much anyway.

That car looks really good. I like that little LCD screen, where did you get that?

I have navigation, but that's still a cool screen and fits well where you have it. You've done a great job with that car!

The NXT spray does a good job also.

I started using products last year from a guy called www.griotsgarage.com, he has this product called "Speedshine" and it works extremely well for fast in between washes. His spray wax works great while drying the car. I've also used his car wash and like it. I've ordered his new wash bucket.

The only thing I don't care for too much is his carnauba hard wax, but his "Best of Show" wax is supposed to be really good. I still like Zymol's Japon hard carnauba wax.

Try some of his Speedshine, I think you'll like it. They have great service too.

But anyway, the point is about your car, and it looks great!!!

Cheers,

Old Oiler.

I bought the navigation online and the NXT spray wax is great. just spray on, apply evenly and wait a while for it to stick to the paint, and then just wipe off. and the haze come off very easily. plus it's pretty good for the price the save time too.
