I call BS on a lot of claims of 25mpg+ with the 350, UNLESS you achieve this after 5k+ plus. I have 1,700 miles or so on my IS and average 19mpg. Trust me, I drive SLOW (I'm on 20s). I never drive faster than 60 (55mph speed limit on my highways) and keep the RPMs very low in the city driving around 35mph.
You will start to get better mileage as the engine wears in. You'll also get better mileage as the temps get higher. I was getting about 3 mpg less in the cold weather compared to the mileage I was getting last summer. Just give it a little time.
I have 7000 miles and I have never broken more then 17 mpg on my IS350 yet
A little over 2000 miles and I am at the same 15-17mpg at best so far. I drive hard most the time. Hit 100mph frequently on the hwy and do alot of 0-80 blast offs.
