The most I've ever done is lock in this guy who was being way too aggressive and cutting people off left and right (I know this kind of thing can just **** some of these guys off more than they were to start with and make them do something even more stupid, but I was pissed off myself... and I was 19).

I just went the exact same speed in the left lane as a guy in the right lane, and blocked him off on 360 (Austin) for a good five minutes... Good times.

I don't condone this kind of behavior, though.

I'm certainly not above the occassional "incident" with someone pissing me off on the road. However, I try to give people one or two chances. If they pass and keep speeding along, I let them go on there merry way. You never know when someone might be tailgating you because they are on the way to the hospital or really worried about someone they love. Just something to keep in mind.

when people tailgate me and there are passing lanes to the left I just let off the gas and down shift a couple times. This one moron couldnt figure it out until I got down to 35 then he moved over. Usually by the time the jump over a lane I jump back up to my normal cruise speed.

I can understand if they were in the left lane, and using their brights to have me move aside. I've moved on a few occasions, but this guy was just being an *** in the right hand lane. But yes, I'm sure everyone keeps that type of information in mind.

Be careful next time.

Btw, I live in Oakland/Richmond area.

that is a rough area there......... i heard a story about a car salesman who got shot while doing a demo for just raising his hands in protest towards a guy who cut him off.

california, it seems its middle aged overweight white women who seem to think they own the road, i cut off by more of them then anyone.
In cali, if your rude you may get shot at.....

thank god I have my ccw, i can shoot back.

but generally im pretty curtious, im not in any hurry and if others want to look like an *** just to get the the stop light first that is fine with me.

Its a good thing I don't live in a big city. The only thing we worry about here is getting run off the roads but larger pick up trucks.. but even then.. they have to catch us.

i always slow waaaay down (but not a break check for fear of getting rear-ended), then pound the gas.

i've never had anyone continue messing with me after i've done that. i think first they get scared that i might come to a complete stop and do something. but then they just get humiliated for not being able to keep up with my acceleration so they just give it up.

Happen one time to me in SJ. I was getting off the club at 2am and one guy with the Cadilac tailgating me then I pulled the road and let him pass then I followed him all the way. He stopped at 7-11. I got off my car and he knew I was doing that, so he still stayed in his car. I put my hand inside my jacket and came to him, said what the F... u doing and what the F.. do u want and on... Finally he said he's sorry and he didn't know he was tailgating me but man, he was doing that for more than 2 miles. After that, the guy's face turned white, so I put my hand out of my jacket and back to my car and drove off. One suggestion for u guy, dont try this , kinda dangerous. I guessed on that day I had a couple B52 in that club. But now I try not to do this again.

Just this you could have got hurt but even worse your car could have got hurt!!!! Always think rationally. It would hurt to get it from behind, from jacking on ur brakes.
