this is what i do also, cept not in my IS, I do it in my mon-friday car. The ever so powerful corolla. I don't give a damn if i get rear ended in it or whatever. So, I straight up will just let off the gas on the hwy all the way down to 30mph if i have to. Now I only do this if i am in the right or middle lanes. Left lane is for passing and if someone is riding my *** in the left lane, then I deserve to get my *** rode (ha that sounds gay) anyways.

I use to do that in my younger days but not anymore. I just slow down and tap on my brake. Still kissing my *** then the slower I drive. Once in a while I slam my brakes and then floor my accelerator.
I think the guy deserved to be humiliated and tortured but be careful not to get into an accident.

Haha nice. I can't say that I haven't done the exact same thing. Nothing pisses me off more than tailgaters. However I do tend to pick and choose my battles. I usually wont mess with any car that looks like the driver has no insurance or even a valid license.
On my way home from work today there as an '01 or '02 ES that I noticed cutting people off behind me until he got to me and started riding my tail. We turned onto the onramp of the Tollway to stop and pay tolls. This particular toll booth had two lanes and since I have a TollTag (i-Pass, Prepaid toll, whatever you want to call it) I tend to hang back a little and figure out which cars are going to stop at the booth and dig around for 5 minutes for 75 cents so I was in the middle waiting to see which lane was moving and he started to try and pass me on the left hand side, knowing he didnt have room I moved over to cut him off and prevent him from even trying. He swung all the way over to the right and got in that line while I got in the left hand line, I had a brief delay while the car in front of me paid the toll and he got stuck behind the idiot who has to dig for change and I was long gone and never saw him again.

I hate tailgaters too but I pick my battles, especially living here in Southern Cali. There're some really, really crazy SOB's here so you never know what they're packin' under the driver's seat. 
Before, I used to get all worked up when someone's being an a$$ on the road but nowadays, I just ignore it and go my merry way. Getting worked up over it gives THEM the satisfaction that they've managed to **** you off and I'm not willing to give them that satisfaction.

I'm a lot less aggressive now. If I'm in the left lane I simply move over, if I'm on the right lane I slow down until they decide to pass me. I try to avoid being stressed with these idiots on the road.

Such as!!!! I had some kid in a pontiac tailing me on the way home, we were cruising along HWY 53, and there he is riding my bumper!
I really hate that! I'm in the right lane for a reason.. I just want to cruise! So I did quite the immature thing and did a MASSIVE brake check. Yes, it was immature, yes it was dangerous.. but he SOOO deserved it. All I saw was the front end of what I assumed to be a Grand Am dive down. Yeah this was from like 65 to like 50. Anyway, he goes around me and I notice that once he gets in front of me.. he flips me off! I see it in his rear view mirror. The nerve!!
So, since it was near dusk and fairly dark.. know what I did? I got right behind him in his little v-6 grand am turned on my brights.. and let me tell you our brights.. are BRIGHT! If he was pissed before he was really pissed now because my headlights lit everything up in his car! Yes I know.. this was incredibly immature but he started it! It was so bad that he had to lower his rear view mirror and change his side mirror. The best part is when he tried to pull away.. well, I just didn't let him. I turned my high beams off, merged into traffic and got right behind him and continued to make his drive uncomfortable, the HWY went from a two lane to a single lane so this made it even more fun. I don't think he'll ever tail an IS again.
So I realize I'm going to get flamed for pulling a dangerous stunt like that but I KNOW some of you have tortured people before for just being obnoxious on the road.

ohh man i hate rude drivers. I was going 40 in a 20 zone when there was no cars and this damm mid 30 guy in a damm pick up truck guns his damm car while i was in my lane and almost hit me i hit my brakes and man they are good. Well i just tailed him all the way and he knew i was on his tail so he guned it at an intersection where the speed limit was 45 and he went to like 90 and my v one was going off like crazy soo i was at about 60 and i slowed down to about 40 and what do u know the cop bust a u turn and chaeses down the guy in the dodge ram i was cracking up soo bad.

I used to be a bit more immature before when I liked to speed.
Not saying I don't anymore but I've gotten smarter about it.
I used to have ppl wanting to go 90 in a 55.
I'd be going 80 and match his 90.
But then he'd wanna go faster so he starts tailing me and giving me the finger so I don't move.
Then when he goes into the middle lane to pass but I'd speed up with him until he hits traffic and has to slow.
Then I hit cruise control with the car in the next lane and act as a blockade to keep him in check.
Nowadays I'll be found in the middle lane and using the left lane only to pass like NJ laws state =P
But I totally feel you on bad drivers.
We really need to bring over Germany's license testing and then build some autobahns!!!
