Default IS accessories

Other than the accessories listed in this thread, are there any other accessories available for the IS?
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=accessories

I'm looking for something similar to this:

(FYI that's off the BMW 3 series, it is an overpriced trash container)

Please don't flame, everyone has different tastes and ways they want to waste money. Besides, it's for the gf.

L-Tuned Parts(A.K.A. Carson Toyota) has some JDM accessories for the IS.

Though it doesn't attach behind the seats like that BMW accessory, there seems to be an available trash stash that fits inside the door pockets.

http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2167

That's the URL for the accessory, and there are a bunch of other accessories you can check out on that website.

I hope that helped.

That did quite a bit, but wow, I thought BMW accessories were pricey! The one I showed was $55 retail (I get a little discount so it would cushion it a little bit). Looking for something less pricey, but thanks, keep them coming.

Wow, that's pricey too. BMW part is $73 MSRP.

I really fail at searching today (and I did). Thanks for both sites, you've helped a bunch, Joonsta.

edit: I emailed my dealer, we'll see if he can get any discounts.

Huh... looks like:

BMW - Higher upfront costs, lower priced accessories
Lexus - Lower upfront costs, higher priced accessories

Nice deal on a nice ride. Too bad the quality of the interior is so poor on BMWs compared to the competition. I also hope you leased it, the repair bills will add up down the line if you plan to keep it very long. I love BMW, just not enough to put up with the aforementioned problems (which I, family and friends have done in the past). This isn't meant to be a BMW-bashing post, it's just that some might disagree that you paid the same price for the same quality.

To each his/her own. Anyways, the household has a 335i Sedan, Coupe (mine that I'm picking up Weds in Europe), 1996 LX450 (with over 160k miles and the alternator was the biggest problem so far) , GS350, and IS250. I enjoy both Lexus and BMW, they are two entirely manufacturers for different needs. The Lexus driving dynamics don't appeal to me as much as BMW's.

I always find it funny when people start off with "This isn't meant to be a ..." and it always turns out into what it isn't meant to be. Driving dynamics > interior. I do prefer most of the interior of the Lexus, the leather sure is softer, but it doesn't hold me in place as well. The don't like the big button look of the Lexus center console, but the fit and finish are definitely very good. As far as repair bills, I don't keep cars over 100,000 miles. What repair bills? You mean the extended maintenance and warranty plan that will be paid for? I am well aware of the differences between the two cars so let's not assume about repair bills, okay?

Just because I mentioned BMW accessories are much cheaper, people don't need to rush to defend the Lexus brand. Everyone knows Toyota makes excellent products. I enjoy both cars and was just flabbergasted about the price difference. Logically thinking, I would've thought BMW accessories would be more than their Japanese counterparts. Anyhow, back to the IS accessories post, shall we?

As for statement of intent, I wanted to point out that I was not *intending* to put down BMW. I said that because I figured some people might get offended by it, whereas others would not (some people are easy going, some are not). As far as repair bills, I meant that you might visit the dealer more often, as many BMW owners that I know do. Mabye you'll be lucky and maybe you'll sell it before the warranty is up - if so, good for you. Once again, I wasn't trying to bash BMW. Besides, a BMW is very appropriate for being in Orange County...
