it doesn't get rid of the vents. the kit comes with a vent on each side.

The worst part of that kit is that its $332 for a faceplate and a harness. And its ugly to boot.

So, to summarize, installing this expensive kit:
1. Takes most of your center vents away;
2. Adds a redundant feature that you already have; and
3. Looks ghetto fabulous.
I'm ordering mine today!

I agree with 1 and 3, but the non-navi stock headunit is pretty lacking in features, even compared to cars which cost $1000s less.

If for $100.00 USD, I would consider it for Nav & DVD Feature ONLY. All other times, it will be OFF and closed.

I will never understand why anyone would take a well-designed, integrated and functional dash panel of a luxury car and stick on some aftermarket crap like that.

I don't know if it is just me or the radio looks like it is facing the right hand side.
for 400US, I am sure you can find some nice shop and custom made you a nice face plate.
