Do you mean that it looks a little bit silverish in color? I think ceramic, has the black/grey look. It should look close to or just like dyed tints. my metallic tint has a slight silverish color.

I was looking at Llumar's website and I can't find any info on a ceramic tint...

EDIT: I didn't know that Llumar and Formula One are the same company.

The reason why it's purple is not becuase it's a bad job but because it's old. Usually good tint film lasts about 6 yrs.

and if u get higher performance aka UNDYED tint films, like metallics, and ceramics, then those should last you forever, thats what my tint shop said.

He also said the expensive ones has better adhesive, and doesn't bubble or peel in the future, with a lifetime warranty.
