Default TSIB / TSB List

First off what does Lexus call them - TSIB or TSB??

Secondly, is there a site anywhere that lists every single TSB for the IS and drills down to what exeactly each TSB is for. On my current vehicle (which is about to go bye bye for a new IS 350), the manufacturer (Volkswagen) has an official website where I can actually purchase the TSBs (if I wanted to) that have the detailed instructions on how to perform them. I never bothered going that far but at least I could go there and very easily see what all was out there for my Model Year.

I searched this forum and found a few threads here and there about various TSBs... but nothing like a comprehensive list that is updated regularly and shows everything.

The one's I found (for the '07 IS350) were:

BR002-06 - Brake Pads
EL013-06 - Navigation System

However, I would like more details as to what VINs are affected and what these TSBs do exactly. Are there any others I should know about? Anything else I should have the dealer look into before I take delivery of the vehicle next week?

Lexus calls them TSIB, but if you call them TSB everyone still knows what you are talking about.

The best two sources are the manufacturer's site, http://techinfo.lexus.com and Alldata, http://www.alldata.com. Alldata used to allow access to the TSIBs for free, but they now require a subscription. You might want to check with your local public library, as many of them do purchase Alldata subscriptions.

So - there is no free source to just get a list of the TSBs? I can understand if I need to pay to get the details of the TSB but there is nowhere that just lists them out with no details?

Why is it that Alldata does not offer an RX option? I was looking for RX350, 2007. Can't find any RX's 2006 - 2008. Weird . . . . .

Lexus USA calls them TSIB, Lexus Canada calls them TSB, Toyota USA and Canada both call them TSB's.

It's a 350, nothing will be wrong with it. LOL! But seriously, the 350s are a better purchase than the 250 any day. Perhaps this might help with the recalls, but not necessarily the TSIBs : http://www.lexus.com/recall/

Anyone have a list of the major TSIB Lexus has on our cars?

Just getting my Aux jack feedback TSIB being done and was wondering what else I should get Lexus to take care.

What is the break dust one about?

Thanks.

Thanks...but most of those are the recall which I'm aware of.

It's the TSIB that are harder to find since Lexus don't really advertise them but I'm sure all our vehicles have the issues (such as the aux jack feedback issue).

TSB's are covered under normal warranty. If you are out of warranty you will have to pay yourself unless there is a special program in place to extend warranty coverage for a time.

It is not like a safety recall where it will be done at no charge regardless of warranty status.
