Lexus tint - $295
Executive Motorsports tint - $145
Both offer lifetime warranty with their tint. Executive Motorsports is a tint shop in Houston and they seem to have a very good reputation.
There is a guy a tint guy at Lexus that my friend knows that will do it for $90. No warranty though, of course.
Which route would you take?

i dunno what the tint laws in texas are, but the Lexus dealership will mostly likely only do legal tint. Take that into consideration if your planning on going darker than what your supposed to.

A Lexus dealer will go to the 25% tint since it is legal. Anything lower and a dealer just doesn't want to get involved with breaking the law. Can't blame them.

wow, it cost me 350 + tax to tint all 5 of my windows... the dealer told me they wouldnt tint the front and my regular tint shop said they had to take the front door panels off to tint them that why it cost so much.

$209 with lifetime warranty, all 5 windows and windshield strip too. And no, my installer did not take off the door panels.

The legal limit in TX is 25%, and the back window can have any darkness. I've got 35% and it is dark enough for me. I don't know if I'd go for limo tint on the back windows and rear window. It just makes driving in heavy traffic, especially early in the morning or at night, just that much more difficult. Houston traffic is bad enough with perfect vision, having limo tint makes changing lanes more tricky. And the IS has a bit of a blindspot because of the way the rear side windows and rear pillars are designed. I'd weigh those things in choosing a tint. Many do a limo tint, but I'm not sure how smart it is. I think 25% would be plenty dark enough.
