Default Vibration in the trunk

I have 2006 IS 350 with 10" subs in the trunk. I get the most annoying rattling/vibration when I turn up the volume . I think its due to the plastic door that's between the trunk and the back seat. Is there any way to take that plastic door out in order to minimize the vibration? Does any one have any ideas on how to stop the vibration/rattling?

2006 IS 350 Tungsten Pearl, 19" Asanti Wheels, K & N Drop in Filter, Billet Grill, VG Shark Fin Antenna, OEM Spoiler, HKS Hi-Power Cat Back Exhaust, Chrome Door Handles, Eiback Pro Kit, Red Out Tail light

It should be a tight fit when the door is closed...

If it still vibrates, you can minimize rubbing by applying felt between the edges, such as the felt strips of velcro tape.

yea, you can take out the plastic door (you're talking about the ski chute thingy right?) i took mine out when i stalled 2 12's. If that doesn't stop the rattling, i would suggest you dynomat that section.

dynamat the trunk, and tape the dooor shut securely. meaning put tape inside the edge of the little door them shut it to make a tighter fit and them tape around the door. I did this for my friend, he has a ES300 with the same problem.

Pay a professional for a diagnose job and use the traditional testing method.

That is...... stuff one of your buddie in the trunk and crank up the vol!
LOL.
It usually works better to stuff yourself in there since you care more about it.
