Default I'm Leaving!

Well friends, the time has come.

My IS350 has been driven by my Dad for the most part recently, and he is getting up there in the years, so I've decided to surprise him and will be trading in the 350 for a new LS460L. We'll be ordering his preferred combo in the next week or so. Still trying to talk him into the LS600HL, but not sure if he's willing to wait, and if I can get my hands on one of the 400 imported to US. It may be too rich for his blue collar blood!

For all those wondering and asking via PM, I've been traveling a lot, and haven't had time to reply - but the properties are finally complete, minus the typical builder issues. Heated garage has come in SO handy this season! The grounds crews have kept all the vehicles in pristine condition - save for the M5 that my wife damaged on a weekly basis. She's now having her way with an M6... ugh!!!

Thanks to everyone for the great year + on this forum. Good luck to all of the wonder friends I've met here.

:Takes ticket:

Don't mind me... I'm just standing in line for your next hand-me-down! LOL

How does your niece like the 300C SRT-8? I thought about picking one up over the IS350 [for a daily driver] but I really don't have a need for a car as large as the 300C.

I did the same (not a Lexus car though) for my father for the exact same reason.

Thanks to Everyone for the warm wishes. I've been out of town (and out of touch) since last week, and am pleasantly surprised to see all of the positive responses.

I'll definitely hang around CL. I'm trying to get my Dad to actually use his computer for more than Solitaire, and access all the valuable info contained on this forum... we'll see!

Hmmm...keep the 350... interesting idea. My stable is currently overflowing, and I'm realizing you can only drive one car at a time... but it may be feasible to gift the car to a relative, providing I don't get stuck with the insurance payment

And yeah, we do fly high ...but remember that the only place SUCCESS comes before WORK is in the dictionary!!
