Default HID problrm (NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!)

I just installed a HID conversion kit and when i was done, i went to start the car and every thing was fine and then on the in dash screen that alerts you if you have a flat or a door is open, said Check VDM, there is also a red light that looks like caution symbol that comes up. if any one could help me that would be amazing cause i really want to get this annoyance to go away.

humm, I never had that happen on my IS250 when I installed the kit. Maybe unhook the (-) battery cable for about 30 mins to reset everything but you'll have to re-sync your windows if you try this.

Yup, happened to me. Simple to fix: take the battery leads off of the battery for 30 seconds and that should reset it. It happens when you dissconnect the air sensor on the intake.

Next time, disconnect the battery for 90 sec. before working on any electrical componets. You may triger the air bag sensors and the warning light will stay on until you take it to the dealer to reset. That will cost you $$$$$$$$.
