Default Ultimate Lockpick

I just received my April 2007 issue of Car & Driver and on page 110 they have a review of a product called the "ultimate lockpick" for Toyota/Lexus vehicles with nav systems. It does many things, one of which is provide an external audio/video inputs for the nav screen so you can watch video from an external source.

Here is a list of the things that it does:

UNBLOCK VIDEO AND AUDIO INPUTS!

REMOVE "I AGREE" SCREEN

UNBLOCK DESTINATION ADDRESS INPUTS

UNBLOCK TOUCH SCREEN SCROLLING ON MAP

UNBLOCK BLUETOOTH PHONE NUMBER ENTRY

UNBLOCK FM TEXT MESSAGES

UNBLOCK FACTORY DVD PLAYERS

Anyway, I'm so excited about this product that I was ready to order one today except that they do not have our cars listed on their site... yet.

I sent an email asking if they were planning to add our cars to the certified list because there are tons of us here on ClubLexus who I think want these features "unlocked". I will let you know when I hear something back from them. In the meantime you can go here to see their website:

I want one now

Here is the current application guide:

And it won't ever. You think this is new? We've talked about this product on CL before....last year. For the 2IS, it's only vaporware. Stop dreaming lol.

So what was the outcome? They outright rejected the idea of making it for our cars?

I E-mailed them. They stated that they had no intentions of making the product for our cars.
