So I was fiddling with my new NX and noticed that it has the ability to project videos on the screen.. Does anyone have more info on this? What cables do I need? Can I do it from my phone?

 

I haven't tried it, but when I was getting the initial IT orientation for my NX, I was told that it was possible to play DVDs through the CD player and view it on the screen -- something you could do if you have waiting to do. Don't know about whether it's possible to play from the phone via Bluetooth, though.

 

I've played a video from the USB.
But it works only on the Parking position. Otherwise you get a blue screen.
I don't really get the point of this feature.

there is a module that u can install to override it even the nav function when not in "park" or stop.

Vaistec has one for the NX, $174.99. Im not sure if it comes with installation manual.

 

yeah I do notice there is a AUX and A/V mode. i never even bother to use the AUX because I can just use Bluetooth. but how do you use the A/V mode? what kinda wire is requires to use that with our Iphone? any idea?

I want to watch movie on a long road trip. any help would be greatly appreciated.
