cool factory alarm feature.
I have an aftermarket alarm system (DEI) attach to the factory alarm which adds shock sensors and other goodies (motion sensors, glass breakage, and etc) to the car. I rowed all the windows down and stuck my head in. The motion sensor activates the alarm. Since the window is open I try unlocking the door manually, but it will not, the lock will close automatically the second I try to unlock it. Only way for a thief to get in would be to crawl through the windows.
I don't think this has anything to do with the DEI becuase it only act as a way to add more sensors to the car.
