If you get illegal tints the ticket is the same as if there were 5%.

If your worried about being pulled because you ride dirty don't get illegal tints or any tints for that matter...............just my personal thoughts!

I just picked up my IS and scheduled a appointment for next friday for tint. I also live in mass. and the legal limit is 35%. On my GS400 i have the 35% in the front and 20% on the rears. that was with tan interior. I have Black interior now so to my knowledge it will be darker so i may just do 35% on the sides and 20% on the rear window. and also do a windshield brow. Does anyone have pics of there IS with black leather and 35% on there windows. Thanks
Also if anyone knows where i can buy a set of Zenetti 5's too would be nice. thanks

I am in the same boat. Why would you get 20% on the backs, but not the fronts? What is your logic behind that?

the logic behind it is that im mass. where we live the tint law only forebids you to do the front two windows below 35%. I was pulled over many times with the 35%/20% set up and they only checked the front drivers and said that the rears don't have to be checked. My front windows on my GS was actually 34% but they always let it slide since i didn't look like i was ridin dirty.

The state cops around the cape cod area told me the wrong info. Idiots, makes me happy they don't know their own laws

Here is my old IS300 ..... 35% all round. Before and after shots.

Here is my Mazda6 ..... 35% on front sides ..... 20% rear sides & Back.

Here is my IS350 .... don't know % ..... its darker than stock but what do you guys think 45%? 50%?

I personally believe using the same % all round looks the best!!!
