Default Finally finished my engine cover *pix*

Been cold out so it took a while but all turned out well. Did it myself and I think its an 8/10 overall. The paint was a very very similar match to oe. I prob wouldn't use it on the grille, but for anything else it would be fine. Think I may polish it out one more time to get a bit more shine but you get the idea. Can't wait to get the Injen!

thx! hardest part was masking off the six wisker things. they aren't strait but instead curved. was a pain getting the angle right.

thanks. didnt really sand much. masked off, sprayed the adhesion promoter, primer, light sanding with model car grade sand paper, more primer, four coats of color with sanding between each coat, then five coats of clear, final finish with rubbing compound.
