Default Oil Change Warning

I took my car into a non-dealer oil change shop and got my oil changed, but now the oil change warning light is still on. Does anyone know how to turn this off? Thanks,

Default Check the FAQ!

You should read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) before you post this question.

Anyway, here is how you reset it:

1. Press start once [Foot off brake]
2. Hold trip reset
3. Press start once [Foot off brake]
4. Hold until ----- disappears

Thanks to Hartawan for this simple steps!

P.S. Welcome to Club Lexus!

Technically, you can reverse step 1 and 2, if the full odometer readout (not trip odometer) is showing.

The warning comes on every 4500 miles.
