Default On No.. Temp Flashing

Okay.. ACK title should read OH No.

So I have praised my car too much and it has got a big head.

Today I noticed ... where the car displays the temperature in the info panel it blinked for about 20s. This is about 10 minutes into the drive.

It said 37 degrees started to blink dropped down to 35 then up to 40. Okay I know I read about this somewhere but wouldn't have an idea how to search for it.

I reached my destination and we got out to eat lunch. This is the second time I've have a full load in my car! Anyways on the way back no blinking, I mean the car drives fine no issues there.. just weird that the temperature reader would flash. No errors. Didn't think to cycle through the rest of the setting such as MPG, AVG SPEED.. Anyone else have this happen? I guess I'll wait and see if it happens again before I worry about it.

When it reaches 37 degrees. The car tells you of potential "ice" on the roads. Almost all new cars have this. I know on BMW's it actually beeps when you reach 37 degrees.

Yep, car is performing the way it was designed. Operator obviously has not bothered to read the manual

I don't think thats it because the car has seen 35, 37, and inwards toward the lowers 20s and never blinked in the temperature gauge before.

Nor has it blinked then shot up four degrees.

Well, that's what the car supposed to do. Only blink when it goes down to 37. Maybe you never noticed it before? But it's normal, and if you search on other forums for other makes, there has been similar posts.
