Default Navi question

i was wondering is it possible to install a stock navi in a non navi equiped car.....is there alot of modification that has to be done or is it basic install ..........im asking this because i can get the stock navi for dirt cheap and i want to install it. i just want it for the basic controls and the dvd capablity not so much the navigation it self.....thanks for your help

It's possible, but ultra ultra expensive.

Not only does the non-navi car lack the wiring for the nav system, but then it needs to be integrated to the audio system, steering wheel controls, climate control system, etc.

If you can get it for cheap do it. As long as it has the needed harnesses coming out of the nav.
