Default Fabulous body kit... different variations?

I've been back and forth between the ING rear add on lip and the fabulous side canards.

The thing is... i look at the fabulous kit sometimes and think.... Fabulous all the way... and sometimes when i look at it... i think... uh... ING...

so i was trying to figure out what the hell's wrong with me... so i compared two fabulous pics side by side... is it me... or are the rear's totally different?

the one that i like

the one that i'm unsure about (sorry for posting your pics hope you don't mind)

for one thing... how the lip curves into the exhaust is totally different. So i thought to myself...maybe it's the angle but i don't see any way around it.

the black fabulous kit doesn't seem to bulge out as much on the sides either... it looks as if it's almost flush to the rear bumper.

while this one significantly sticks out

now just random pics of the black one

and another of the grey

diffrence between those two cars is...the black is the FRP version, while the grey is the CarbonFiber version. I never seen angled shots of the FRP but I noticed the CarbonFiber version Sticks out more off to the side...while the FRP is more flush with the rear bumper...heres a example

CarbonFiber...

FRP...close up

CarbonFiber...

hope that helps

rear is expensive for that size. i'd prefer TOM's rear n' sides and fabulous front lips.

I didn't realize there was a difference between the Carbon ones on my car and the FRP. Interesting...I guess you learn something new everyday.

In other to be a perfect lip, it has to more flush to the bumper. The one that sticks out off to the side doesn't look right !

It looks that there is some wrong with the kit. I know, you fill the same way !

I've always thought this too. the differences int he canards are extremely noticeable. glad you posted the frp pics, it seems those are a little more close to flush.

however you can still tell that the marketed canards are still very different from both production designs.

guys I just spoke to Fabulous and they assure me that they re both the same exact part. He said that some bodyshops know how to flush them in and some are not able to.

I would definetly go with the Fabulous, dued to the fact that the back of the new IS is squared shaped enough. : ) And it looks way better!
