Do you have to reset the rain sensing wipers every time you start the car? On my current vehicle (VW Touareg), if the stalk is in the "rain sensing mode" position but I turn the car off... when I turn it back on the wipers need to be reset. In other words, if I just turn the car on and drive into rain, the wipers won't go automatically. I need to move the stalk to "off" and then back into the "rain sensing" position.

Is the Lexus the same way? Or, is it always on - even after stopping / starting the car?

 

No need to reset the wipers. If you leave them in the auto position, they'll come on when it starts to rain.
