Default Wipers

I was driving home yesterday in the rain and I had my wipers on the constant low setting. I came to a light and had to stop. When I did, the wipers changed to intermittent mode. Then as I accelerated, they switched back. Didn't know whether anyone noticed this before or not, but I thought is was nice. I hate coming to a stop and having the wipers going nuts. I didn't get a chance to see what happens when they are on high.

Default Lux package has rain sensing

Hey Jkeys:
If you have the Luxury package, you get rain sensing wipers. there is no true intermittent setting with this option. I use Rain-x . That rain-sensing mode is annoying sometimes. I turn the things off and just bust through the rain with the Rain-x and Dunlops. Life is good .

Cool

The rain sensing wipers come with the sports package also. I also turn them off because if I have it on and put the sunshield in the window the wipers activate once. I think the sunshield hits a sensor or something as I'm fitting it in. Weird!

if anyone knows that its called rain sensing wiper for a reason lol...it has a sensor =P anything that usually makes contact or sits for a little will set em off...cause i left my car on and i leave the setting to automatic and i recall placing my hand on my windshield to wipe and kazzam the wipers tried to take my arm off lol...its that huge black looking plate in your window right behind your review mirror.

I have the automatic wipers also and my issue is that when it is on auto mode it does not activate soon enough. The widnsheild has to be completely full of rain before it gets ativated specially on a complete stop. Can the sensor be the problem? I tried the low to fast setting on a stop with difference, the only difference I noticed is when moving over 40 mph. I tried pressing the sensor next to the rear view mirror and sudeenly it gets activated.
