Do you guys with HID fogs get people that flash you for the lights being too intense? Unlike the IS300 HID headlamps where theres a reflector in front of the bulb, the foglight housing has an exposed bulb. I've noticed that in the pics where members have HID fogs, the light output is quite bright. I do like the look of the brighter bulbs, but I don't want to blind oncoming traffic since my PIAA Ion Yellow halogen bulbs seem to work okay. I am seriously considering the mod, but I'd like to know how how oncoming traffic reacts to the brighter bulb.

Our housing has a reflector... and no its not too bright for other people, my friends have drove infront of me and they say its normal.

 

Sorry for not being clear. I meant that the fog light housings dont have a "reflector cap" that re directs the light output to the side reflectors of the housing...

Thanks Hartawan...good to know that it's not blinding. I guess the lights are low enough to stay out of oncoming traffics' vision...

 

My 3000k HID fogs have been on for a little over a year and I have yet to have anyone comment on my lights being too bright.
