Default CarJacked!!!

well i thought id share my story with u guys about what happened tonite and this should be a heads up for all of you. Me and my cuzin are in the jack in the crack drive trough ordering, i am the driver and my cuzzin is in the passenger seat. so half way through the order this guy jus comes up to my window and opens my door, my stupid fault door wasnt locked. but he kept telling me to get out of the car and insisted that he had a gun. As soon as i heard about the gun, i was like screw it, take the car, my life is way more important. so another guy comes on my cousins side and pulls him out of the car and throws him down. These guys were heavy built. they get in my car and take off like crazy...we call 911 and while we were giving the statement, they get a call saying they found my car. Those idiots recked it tho. they hit a truck and my front end is screwed up badly. there were like 15-20 cop cars looking for the guys and thank god, they found the guy who pulled me outta the car. they didnt take anything but messed up the car really bad. so jus a heads up for everyone , be very carefulll when stopping somewhere or so. cause our cars in the eyes of crooks are targets.. i hope wat u wrote makes sence, im still sorta distorted form all the drama...

before you get out press the stop engine button and RUN!! they probably won't notice the engines off until they hop in anyway

Well at least you guys are OK. Cars can be fixed or replaced. Do you have pictures of the damaged car?

glad to hear you are ok. too bad about the car but i guess it can be replaced. but i already knew our cars were targets, it only makes sense to target higher end vehicles with maybe a little bit older drivers. it could happen to anyone so you guys are lucky. curious if they had a gun as well.

Wow. Scary story. It's good that you and your cousin did the right thing and were safe. Sorry about the car.

I wonder though... Would these thugs have been smart enough to be aware of the key... If you had the key in your pocket, could you run out of the car, leaving the car running, but unmovable? By the time these idiots figure out what's going on, you're safe inside Jack in the Box and calling 911 furiously?

You are right. They probably didnt ask for the key, but they still could drive away. Once they shut the car off though, they wouldn't be able to start it again.
