Just curious what people are paying for window tint?

I'm looking into getting the rear, both side rears, and maybe (maybe) the two front ones as well.

I have a Starfire Pearl looking to black out the rears for sure, and maybe the lightest tint up front.

For those who have tinted your windows, how much did you pay?

Oh and is the 3M window tint really worth the extra cost?

 

i jus got mine yesterday for 110 installed cash no tax...

california tint in so cal... they've done my other friends IS. Some places will remove the rear speaker cover or something, but this place won't.

I got the non metalic because they told me that it interferes with either the gps or radio... iono .. they know what' they're doing.. i've taken 5 or 6 or my cars there... and recommended a bunch of my friends..

as for 3m.. i have no clue~

+1 for California Tint. Peter charged me 100 bucks for non-metallic tint because I known him for 7 years already. His films are Johnson Tints and they come with a Lifetime Warranty. He does a very good job and stands by his work.

I've had quotes ranging from $135 to $300, depends on the installer, quality of work and the warranty.

 

Just paid $120 for sides and rear, 20% all the way around. No front windshield though. Car looks sick now.

 

haha... dang in washington they wanna charge somewhere around $250 - 300... *********!

 

I'm in Long Beach, CA. Is California Tint near Long Beach?

 

There is no place to get tinted in Iowa. hahaha

 

Where in IL did you get your tints applied?

 

Place in Logan Square. Most of the chicago folk got their tints done there. It was a CL forum hookup. I can PM you the number if you're interested. He did a great job.

 

DAMN!! They must have cars lined up 20 deep every day. How do they stay in business on margins like that??

I paid $325 for Pinnacle One Ceramic tint on all 4 windows and rear in the Atlanta area.

Did they have to remove your front door panel to tint the bottom corner of your front windows with the small tweeters there.
