the reason i hate this wood trim is,

1. i hate wood trim, because all elder like wood trim very much
2. i hate wood trim, make me look old, i m only20
3. i hate wood trim, because 2IS 350 meant to be a sport car
4. i hate wood trim, because no sport car in history ever install wood trim on it.
5. i hate wood trim, because 2IS wood trim look ugly and make my car look cheap
6. i hate wood trim, because all above reasons

does that makes sense to you , thats why i hate wood trim so much

 

I like it, especially for the sports model, in place of the painted plastic.

 

Hey, that's cool. If you don't like the wood that is ok. But the BMW 335i series, which is a pretty sporty car, comes with two choices of wood along with the silver trim. And I don't think anybody thinks putting wood in a 335i makes it less sporty or appealing. That's just one example.

You seem to believe a 20 yo shouldn't have wood in the car. Why? Whether you like the look of the IS wood or not is a personal viewpoint, but I don't think it makes the car look cheap at all.

 

Aston Martins have wood trims. They also have aluminum and CF trims too. To me, they are classy, sporty (relatively), and if a 20 year old is driving it, it'll be awsome (or really really spoiled)

 

i absolutely hate the wood. i'd rather have the cheap plastic. i just wish they made it an option on the lux package. yeah, it's a matter of preference. maybe if i had a 3-series... but i don't. =)

 

my friend 19 driving a F430 in CA....... ****ing his father bought him for birthday .......... he drives IS350 for day to day driving........ wood trim to him, such rubbish.........

Because some spoiled rich kid's dad bought him an F460 as a birthday present doesn't make him the arbiter of good taste. Sounds like you guys need a bit of real world living. Don't go around in life believing those with more money than you are smarter and have all the right answers. Live your own life and think for yourself.

 

What on earth is a F460? Might you be reffering to the Ferrari F430?

my point is, i hate wood trim, and most people agree to my point. and guess what, i stand on my point, that 2IS wood trim is ugly and rubbish and it ruin my 2IS.

furthermore, guess what, i buy the car on MY OWN with cash through my job and i can tell you that, for those who havent see what beauty is, has no right to judge my comment. So dont just stuck in ur 2IS and satisfy that your wood trim is the best in the world and then live like that in the rest of your life.

i guess it is the time for a old man like you, to come out the cave and see the new world's standard.

 

Come on, everyone has different taste! And my post is about CF kit not about the wood trim... I like the matalic trim but the silver CF kit look much better! I personally don't like wood trim since IS is a sport car it should have CF trim at the first place haha :P
