pnice972 basically said all about these leds...during the day when the DRLs should be on (when ur lowbeams are off)..they will flicker one time then off with no light at all once u release the parking brake...they need a full power in order to work instead of just half/lower voltage drawn fo the DRLs...i guess its just another way to disable ur drls

ditto bro.. and i did it for my fogs too! one... the DRL run at like half juice so you dont get the full potential of the bulb. the fogs... well i spent all this money and it didnt match my 6000k hid bulbs and basically looks stock. no refunds on these bulbs so now i just took a $100+ hit cause i didnt care to do more research first. anyways... ill sell the used bulbs on ebay for extremely cheap and explain the whole ordeal. i kept the receipts just incase to prove they only been used for a few weeks. anyways... im still lookin for a good solution to the ugly yellowish fogs and DRL.

I am currently looking to get a set of Piaa GTX 9005 bulbs. I have the Piaa GTX wedge bulbs in my city lights and they look allight.
Better than those yellow DRL. Also, I am thinking about getting a set of pure golden yellow color bulbs for DRL, too.

so if i use the piaa tera...

1. drls basically don't work
2. i can use my high beams as drls (or wait, do the hids come on when you flash the highs while set on auto/off in the day)
3. use of high beams for its usual purpose is gone

correct?
