That is like making a Lexus look like a BMW.
That is like making the IS look like the GS/LS.
That is like shouting out to all that "Hey, I can't afford the IS-F, but I'll be a Poser and pretend that I have bigger ********* than I claim..."

Don't do it.

Modify the car. Don't replicate another car...
I would agree if the OP was about putting emblems on a 250 or 350. However, if someone wants to put the "super bad-*** IS-F brakes" on an x50, why not do it?

I'm thinking of rotors/brakes and taillights.

I suggest you re-read the original post. When you do, you will see that a brake upgrade was not the only thing that was mentioned. It should then be clearer to you that I was not refferring to a simple brake upgrade.

I missed that thread. Got a link?

BTW, I'm extremely skeptical Lexus would do this. None of the necessary brackets are attached to the RWD subframe. I already dug into this one because I tend to kill the outer edges of my front tires before the rest of the tread. I thought it would be helpful to dial in more front camber, but it would take a huge effort and parts from some other platform (like a Supra.)

I don't have link, but I imagine it would come up if you do a search on "dunlop bracket alignment". I would do the search myself right now, but I've had WAY too many beers.
