Hi everyone, I just got a MP3 (not IPOD) player for christmas and was wondering how I hook it up to the IS350? I see the aux jack, but my MP3 player came with no wire to hook it up with. Can I just go to radio shack and get a connecter? Is it called something? Thanks

$19.95 is a bit pricey. You can get a similar cable from Radio Shack for about $5.00. For a real iPod, I prefer a "dock" connector cable that bypasses the headphone amp for better sound, but I don't know if that is possible with your player.
Yeah I tried one of those and it started to melt in my car but I live in texas and iit was about 105 degrees outside and inside the car im sure it was much warmer.Just becareful you get what you pay for.
Get a monster cable 1/8" mini to 1/8" mini if you are concerned about quality, generally in the car audio section of electronic stores.
Plug this into the aux socket, then hook up your aux cable with the isolator and mp3 player into the aux cable.
Most people that have iPods and plug them into either of the two 12 volt power sockets (cigarette lighter and center console) have ground loop problems/engine whine coming through the audio.
No noise occurs when you plug an iPod into the aux channel without the 12 volt power.
