Default A Pillar

So my car had this rattle/creaking coming from what I thought was either the passenger side dash and/or door, or passenger side seat belt pillar. Dropped it off yesterday but made sure to go for a drive with the tech. he heard the noise. Just got a call that the car is ready for pick up. They said it was the passenger door and the A pillar that was causing the rattle and that they insulated both. They claim to have taken it on the same road again where they heard the nosie and the noise is gone.

My question is what/where is the A Pillar? I could wait and just ask them when I go pick up the car but we all know CL members know best

Thanks

The peice that runs from your dash all the way up your window... It has that SRS Airbag sticker on it

It's the shaft of material that supports the windshield on either of the windshield frame sides.

So in other words, on our cars, the blindspot pillar

Thanks

PS They gave me an ES330 to drive. I miss my big mirrors, amongst other things.

Yep, and for what it's worth, the pillar that separates the front and rear doors is the "B" pillar.

...and the pillar that's between the rear door window and the back window is the "C" pillar.

One noise kit later and I would say the cabin is about 95% quieter than before. A creak here and there but I attribute it to plastic and cold weather.

LRH. Not that it matters but that is where I also purchased the vehicle. I don't have the invoice handy but it listed the "noise kit" and some part number.
