Is this a joke? TPMS is just telling you that at least one tire is low, and you need to check them all with a guage.

No Joke here, I guess I was mistaken and I thought I read somewhere that you can find out which tire is low.

I don't think TPMS even knows which tire is low.

As stated above check them all....this happened to me a week ago here in LA, but it was because the weather had changed dramatically from the 80's in the day to the 30's at night, so the air temperature had dropped the pressure pretty evenly on all the tires, I pumped them all up (while they were still cold) to the specified pressures, and like I said it's been a week, and I have had no more warnings.....

Well that sucks, if there is a sensor on each tire I think the system should recognize the tire that is low.

To clarify ... it may know which sensor is indicating a low pressure by the sensor's electronic ID, but it wouldn't know where that sensor resides on the vehicle.

It might. There are two receivers, and it isn't clear from the documentation if they are used for fault tolerance or for distinguishing the relative position of the wheel. (CONJECTURE- it could be done.) But there is nothing in the documentation saying they do anything other than identify by ID1, ID2, ID3, and ID4. Let's see if justfixit chimes in, he's forgotten more about this than any of us will ever know.

The reason why I doubt it knows the location of the low tire is because the system doesn't complain when all the sensors are put inside the same tire in a trunk (for people with aftermarket wheels).

You have to re-intialize the system with the satellite button I think

Yes. This happened to me. I just set the tire menu to 2nd or whatever it says. I know that is not clear, but that menu button left driver side, go to where it checks or shows the status and set it to shift or second...sorry i can't remember what it says...but I know you know the menu, just play around with it.

I've had the low tire press warning 3 times, in my experience if you fill to the correct pressure as soon as I turn my car on the warning went away.
