Default IS350 and alignment

I took my car in because it kept pulling to the right even after dealer aligned it. Service guy tells me that it is normal for our cars to do that. Is that right?

I am 99% sure that there is a TSB in relation to this complaint. Have a quick search thru this forum and see how u go.

Exclamation Not normal

My car has not had any pull at any speed since day one.
4300 miles and still perfect (fingers crossed).
I have the Bridgestones RE050 on mine, don't know if that matters.

The TSB regarding this "issue" is simply detailed instructions on how to go about diagnosing the cause of a pull. It has nothing to do specifically with the IS.

A number of people have complained about this. It's not normal in any event, and you should get your dealer to fix it.

Well...maybe not 'specifically' but it says its related to it.

In any case, what the service personnel said to the OP about the steering pulling to one side being normal is not true! The TSB may allow the OP to query the service personnel to look into it further. Either way, its dissappointing that a Lexus service place would say such things. Seems like they were just too lazy or 'busy' to investigate it further.

*shrugs*

I don't think that's normal. I think the dealer gave you a BS reason to get away. My car hasn't pulled to either right or left.

Let me guess, you have stock Dunlop tires? Mine does the same, it is not an alignment problem, it is caused by defective tires. I could care less about mine, these tires will be done with after the winter.

I believe some members were able to get new tires because of this problem.

I have Dunlops, no pulling. However, yes if alignment is within spec, it could be the tires.

My IS250 AWD pulls a little to the left. At first I thought it was something mental in my head and I was just imagining...This can't be happening on a Lexus!

But, I'm bringing it in tomorrow to have it checked out. I called my dealer and talked to the service manager today and he said it could be a tire issue and he has had a few complaints about this. It's depressing that I'm having this problem...feel like vomitting!!!! My car is only 2 weeks old!!!!

I have 18" Dunlops too. Absolutely no pulling whatsoever. The car tracks straight down the road if I take my hands off the wheel.

My IS250AWD pulls to both sides while driving and when I brake, the wheel turns slightly and pulls to the right

Default Bring to dealer asap!

I called the service manager at the dealer today and told him about this forum, sent him the following link to a recent post about this pulling problem.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=alignment

He said that I'm not the first to complain about this and definately not the first to request a new set of tires. The problem is from the tires, not an alignment issue. If you read the above thread, all of the other Lexus owners got their tires replaced and an alignment did not fix the problems. I basically told my service rep that I'm not going to waste my time and their time and resources by bringing my car back and fourth for adjustments...the problem is due to the tires...Change them! He's looking into it for me. Will update everyone.

I had this problem too, and planned on taking it in for the new tires (via warranty). However, I ran over a piece of road debris, and destroyed a front tire. I went ahead and replaced both fronts with new Dunlops, and the pull went away. I was so pissed that I lost my opportunity to get 4 new Bridgestones for free just by running over something...
