Default Problem Fogging Up

Is it me or does the ISx50 have a tendency to fog up the cabins and especially the rear windshield fogging up easily. I've never experience a car fogging up so easily with the lowest outside temperature being 65 degree.

Nope, It's the same for all my previous cars. Never found the IS to have a problem with "fogging" up easy. I think you are just creating a bit extra "body heat" no?

My rear window doesn't fog up but my windshield does when I roll down my window then put it back up in the morning when I arrive at work. However, it quickly corrects itself. Maybe it is because of the temperature in you cabin?

Is your AC on?

You might have a residue on the window. My rear window is fogs easily because I am too lazy to twist my arm back there and clean it. Try cleaning it with a towel.

The seats are only ventilated. If there is a lot of moisture (generated by you and your passengers) inside the car, then the windows will fog up. You need to turn on your A/C.

I've had great success with a plain microfiber towel...

Set the climate control to auto, leave the a/c on and it will do it's job of removing moisture from the air.

I also noticed that they fog easily. I've never had that problem with my previous cars but I have never had a sedan before either so I'm not sure if it's common with sedans.

I've only noticed it when driving Japanese cars. For some odd reason, you have to have the A/C unit on to prevent fogging. Not sure why. I think it was even in my old Honda manual. Haven't read the Lexus one yet.

I think you can push the front window defog button on the right side of the panel and it will automatically turn on the a/c and fans!

The a/c unit in our 2nd gen cars are designed to run all the time, it turns off automatically below freezing temps. The a/c unit will dry the air in the car and prevent fogging,...try it. Just leave it in auto (ON).
