S Drive RPM Setting?

S Drive RPM Setting?
What should be the RPMs be set at for the shift indicator when in S-drive for the IS250? One dealer told me 3000, which seems low. The manual doesn't state a specific rpm.

do you mean the tach indicator ring that turns orange? because for that, it doesn't matter what mode you're in. i set mine at 4K to make sure i don't rev too high when i'm not trying to. default is set at 5K.
