Anyone mod the drivetrain yet?
I know it is pretty popular to swap out the diff on the GS with a supra TT LSD and change the stall speed on the TC. Has anyone here done that with the IS350? I now there is no "supra swap" but there is a Tom's LSD available and I think precision industries will modify any torque converter. I'm wondering the basics ... permanently disabling VDIM, and of course rev limiter issues, CE lights, etc. anyone?

Same here...I'm waiting til the drivetrain warranty runs out, or until i start making 5-10k more per year before I start f-ing around with the drivetrain. At that point I'll tinker with everything in the car. Right now being a recent college grad, I can't afford to f up the tranny or anything else related.

Historically, the Lexus tranny has been built like a tank. I havent heard of any transmission failures on the GS even on very high mileage cars with modified TC, LSD, FI, and valve body modification. Regardless I'm sure the majority is scared about the warranty issues. There are people on this site with SC's on their 350's so I'm pretty much looking for responses from the minority out of curiousity.
