anyone like the sik inc. ram din cable for the center console ipod connection?

anyone cut off the firwire portion of the ram din cable?

for the owners of the cable, does the console lid close with the right angle cable plugged in?

anyone purchase it/see it offline, in a retail store? super autobacs etc? (autobacs is closed right now, so can't call them)

i have it, great sound quality. i didn't cut off the firewire portion because i use that to charge. My only complaint is that the wire is so short it's hard to change the song.

 

I use the Monster Cable icharger which has a low-profile charger plug and it fits perfect in the arm rest console. And it has the line out as the Sik ram din cable. However, if you have it plugged in to charge you will hear a bit of noise, so you will need the ground loop isolator. Although you can just use the line out without having it plugged in.
