Default Lexus Saved My Life

Wind and rain warning right now in Vancouver and just my luck, I get a head on collision from a Toyota Matrix when it lost control and came into oncoming traffic. Both airbags deployed, hood basically pushed all the way back to the firewall. The firemen and paramedics said I was extremely lucky my car was that safe. The people in the other car have broken bones while I only have bruises everywhere and a sore neck/back/hip. The IS is a safe car

Wow! Glad to hear you made it, basically, unscathed.

Hope you feel better soon.

I'm glad your alright. It's good to know that the IS is such a safe car. I hope you have a quick recovery. Was there a passenger with you or did the passenger airbag deploy even though no one was sitting in the seat?

No passenger but the passenger airbag did deploy. It's a total loss, doubt anything can be salvaged. Good thing I bought replacement insurance. If you see in the background that silver thing on the ground is part of my foglight.

Glad to hear that you are okay.

IS and BMW 3 series are both rated the safest cars among its class.

Thanks everyone. I was checked up at the hospital and they say I should be fine. Just lots of stiffness for the next few days. That is my foglight that is still on, my headlights are in the next lane over
