Default AFS light revisited

I just had me Teins installed and now I have that stupid AFS light blinking. I did a search and came across the pictures with the bold and nut not being in the right spot. But I noticed this did not fix everyones problems. Anyone else have any other suggestions. I have not tried to fix it yet, but I was wondering what should I do if I can't get it to stop blinking.

Yes Red, have them fix the problem. I have my Teins installed and haven't had any problems with the AFS light.

Hey Alex glad to hear from you.

The shop said they would definitely take care of it for me, im good friends with the owner. But I just wanted a back-up plan in case this didnt work. I have yet to have them try it though. No time till next monday.

Im guessing I also got the Japan Spec as well. Rust proof can, and all the instructions in Japanese. Is there much of a difference from the US? Anyone have the US yet?

Check out the post linked below I recall from the 3GS forum, may be helpful (or may be the one you're referring to above). Just in case....

Hey, no problem Red! I'm just glad you finally got the Teins after all that waiting!!

Back when I spoke to the Tein guys they said that the difference relies usually on the springs they use for the US and Japan markets. They said that the Japanese version springs are sometimes softer than the US version, but that most times they remain unchanged with the difference in what comes with the packaging (US versions get Tein stickers while Japanese versions get the "rust proof" can). I don't know what would be the case with the Tein CS though But, are the Tein CS great or what??

thanks for the replies guys

Dave, the link you posted was the one i found using search. thanks for posting the link though.

Alex, yeah I remembered when I ordered it back in august. all that waiting but it definitely paid off. I got a bunch of stickers and the rust proof can as well. won't be putting any stickers on the car though. but i do like their mascot(your avatar)

the Teins are great. have them at setting 8 (manufacture sent setting) stock ride, but you feel it "hold" at higher speed lane changes as well as quick turn-ins.

Well now I guess I have to order my wheels now??
