Well see I was kinda worried about the blue bulb in there too, but since I have the MTEC 9005 4350K bulbs in there anyway, I already have blue bulbs in there anyway. There is just no winning this one, either way we win or lose something.

Anyone know if having no bulb in there at all is bad or can damage something electrical?

You can purchase a blank or kill off the bulb yourself - this would accomplish the same.

Anyhow, anyone try the PIAA 6000K HID LED 55w 9005 bulbs for the DRL's...?

Whoa? Where can I get a blank? And what would be the difference between that and just having no bulb in there?

Okay, did it today. Ditched the LED city lights and went with these. Here is the before:

Now the before pic was with generic eBay White LED 194 bulbs for the city lights and Luminics 5150K bulbs for the fog lights. The after pic is with generic white incandescent blue blub city lights and MTEC 4350K bulbs for the fog lights. I like the look a lot better now. Now it really looks like everything matches the stock 4300K HID low beams.

What does everyone think?

Ben - looks ok, but I think next time I'm in there I'll take the old reg bulbs (I have the vleds) and just snip off one of the wire contacts so they won't come on. I don't like the city lights anyway....as my BMW buddy said...what are they for?!?!?!?

I put those same Polarg bulbs in a MB C320 and yes they looked good at night when they were on but during the day (and off) they made the area around the bulb look too blue (and rice) for me.

You know I am going to do the same thing if I have any problems with the MTEC city lights. They were my last attempt and something better than stock. I hate the city lights and I will just pull them out and have no bulb in there if these fail soon.
