I hate to sound ignorant, but I have no idea what we're talking about here. What is DRL? Something about a light somewhere?

if they claim they don't know how or it can't be done... simply print out the instructions with pics floating around in one of the previous drl threads and give it to them.

The most common obstacle that customers have faced is not that the dealer doesn't know how to turn them off, but rather they are told that DRLs are a safety feature, which they are not permitted to disable for liability reasons.

In the 3GS owner's manual it states the DRL as a LPS, so I just lied and brought up that in my IS manual(which I left at home) had the same thing(which it didn't for some strange reason), and they didn't question me at all. I mean, if one Lexus can do it, why not all of them.
