Any thoughts? Disable TPS warning light
Hello all,
I did a search but could not find the info...I have 18" ISP w/ the oem tps mounted ...I also have a set of factory 17" IS wheels w/ snow tires...from what I understand there does not seem to be a way to get the "Low Tire Pressure" msg off of the multi funtion display screen...putting the tps in the spare is not an option as they are in the other set of wheels...I read about resetting the tps switch but I tried and nothing happend...any help would be appreciated as I could not see spending an extra $400 bucks for a second set of sensors...can the dealer reprogram any thing or do you folks have any better ideas?

Hi,
I have the same problem. It is possible to disable the "Low Tire Pressure" msg of the multi funtion display screen. Maybe an ''acknowledge'' or something!

BTW, I'm looking to do the same thing you did. How much did you pay for your 17 inch rim setup? Who'd you buy it through?

I don't think there is a way to disable the TPMS system.
This system is required by law. By 3rd quarter of 2007, 100% of all new vehicles for U.S. market must have the TPMS system embeded.
Sorry... Mankind drives without these wireless moduels for last 2,000 years, and now they invented and forcing us to buy it!

Yes, they fit, however some have said you need to make sure there is a wider tire on the rims in the rear, to keep the staggered setup that comes with the 350. Are you trying to find a winter tire solution?

Actually trying to find a solution for next years Import vs Domestic race. I wanna put preferably 17" OEM wheels on the rear with some drag radials. In my street stock class I compete with low 13 second hondas that are stripped out, cammed, tuned, all the bolt-on and slicks. I am certain I could have got a 2nd place finish if I had some sticky rear tires.
