wheel fitment: help!!!!
I'm ready to buy a new set of wheels...preferably 18s, but I have no idea what offset to go for. right now i'm riding on the OEM 17s at +45mm all around(is250 awd). I was going for the +40mm all around, but some say that it'll tuck at the rear. so should i get +35 for the rear and +40 for the fronts?
I'm interested in the te37s and the Work Termist TM1 and bbs rs-gt ...those are the ones I narrowed down to. some one help me out!!! and should i go for the 18x8.5 or 18x8s?
thanks in advance.

No, you need to figure out what offset is going to bring your wheels closest to lip of the front wheels. Then match those to the rears. The lower the offset the more they will end up being closer to your fendor. Those wheels you listed above will tuck the rims in even more.
It's very hard to find rims that will have different offsets from the fronts to the rears without changing Width size and going staggered. I'm having the same issue.
here's a good website to figure out how much more the wheel will come out.
