Is this possible???
I have a set of brand new 19 inch wheels and was wondering if the sizes and offsets would work for the 2 Gen. IS.
They are 19x8 +45 up front and 19x10 +53 in the rear.
Anyway this might fit without rubbing issues? I was going to do a whole custom job to my 1st gen IS but thinking I might move on. Will they fit? Thanks for the help everyone! JOHN

Well I went through that whole thread previously and I saw that there were so close offsets but nothing matched. Just wanted to know if anyone else knew if they might work. Maybe with some slight modification? Would it really handle like crap?
I was thinking possibly with a small spacer of like 5mm it might work better. That would drop it down to a 48 basically.
Anyone??? a whole bunch of views with very little commenting! haha

I thought it would. I was just worried about the fronts...not many people have a +45 offset for the front wheel...will that be an issue?
I already have these wheels...I was going to do a custom project for my 1st Gen. IS but I think the time has come to see my baby go. I was just trying to see if the new wheels would fit with out any issues. I don't mind getting a spacer as long as it isn't huge! Thanks again everyone! This has been a big help in leading me in the right direction.

the stock front wheels are 18x8 +45 so you should be more than good. i would go with like a 10mm spacer for the front... that would bring it down to a 19x8 +35.

If you were me and you wanted a 350 but weren't sure if you could what would your second choice be? 250 awd or 250 rwd? I'm still torn. I never drove an awd car and am used to the rwd handling.
i love the power of the 350 so it would be tough for me. but out of the 2, i'd go for the 250RWD. the AWD loses even more power. only way i'd go with the 250AWD is if i KNEW i could up the power considerably and reliably. thats just my OPINION so take it for what its worth.
right. Yea I WANT the 350 bad because I'll keep the same power had with my Supercharged 1st Gen. Hopefully I can get a good deal! I'll def. keep everyone updated. haha it looks like if this goes through I will have a new internet family to talk to instead of My.IS. haha I'm over there all the time but this place has much more info for the 2gen IS. Thanks again!
