Default X-Package colors...Why??

The X-Package on the Lexus site says...

Available with the following exterior colors:
Tungsten Pearl
Smoky Granite Mica
Obsidian

Was anyone else able to get it in another color?? I really want it in Starfire Pearl (white) but don't wanna pay for a new paint job. I don't see why they only offer it on those colors it's just paint.

Thanks!

If you live in California, you are DONE. Those are the only 3 colors available for CA.

Those are the only three colors Lexus makes the X-Package in. Not sure why, but that's it.

True. You can't even do a Special Order with other colors for the X-Package.

Lexus probably wanted to give the X-Package the "sporty" colors. Other than racing red, yellow, or orange, none of the other colors are "typical" sports colors...

Well.... knowing how Toyota works, seems like they probably did their homework and figured out which of the FEW colors were most popular and picked those for the "Sporty X-Pkg".

It just doesn't apply to the IS alone.

If you go to your local Lexus dealer, check out the available colors for the SC430. More than 9 of 10, it'll either be white, silver, or black...

Get the color you want. Look on ebay everyday for the x-package rims. Once you get it sell your stock 18inch rims on ebay as well.

Yeah, that's one way of doing it but you still loose out on the following:

X-Package includes:
- Sport pedals
- 18-in Alloy wheels (X-Package wheel, 5 spokes)
- Sport-tuned suspension
- Illuminated scuff plates
- Front air dam

True, but you can buy the pedals and scuff plates for a few hundred dollars and install them.

I'd rather have my favorite choice of color then the air dam and sport tuned suspension.

If you go to the Lexus web site you will see that there is a new option package (X package) for the 07 model IS.

You can also buy the front air dam... The only thing you cannot buy separate from the x-package is the sport tuned suspension...
