There are a lot of angles that show the "L".
Check out the angles of the headlights, the grill corners, the foglights, the front air dam: all similar to the angle of the "L" logo...
By the way, has anyone measured the angle of the "L" yet?

I've always seen that door trim detail as a "Z", not an "L", but given your picture, it's hard to disagree with you.

Bichon is correct. The door panel is the "Z" design. They mention it in a huge brochure book I just picked up on Saturday on the 2006 IS350.

But isn't a Z design simply a combination of two Lexus L's?
To be sure, I'll check with Elvis and the little green men when I see them on the UFO that picks me up at night.

there was an article that stated Lexus specifically incorporated L-designed around the car, to subtly remind people of the L-finesse styling. ie, the door handles in the L shape and the angled curvature of the rear windows... and so forth

This reminds me of when I was on the RX-8 forums and people were finding all these triangles hidden on and in their car which were suppose to symbolize the rotor of the RX-8's rotary engine.

I'm too lazy to go look at mine, is it as noticiable for the black interior?
