Well after reading the replies...now I don't feel so bad about the mileage. I'd be absolutely livid if they had racked up a couple hundred miles on my car. Did you guys get anything out of them because of it?
It was Superstition Springs Lexus. My wife takes her RX there regularly for service and she's never had any complaints. But then she doesn't really pay attention to details and is more interested in what type of loaner she gets than the actual work they perform on hers. Hopefully they make it right for me.

I HOPE your not serious about this? Seriously! There is no need to check for downforce because it IS a STANDARD design for ALL spoilers. There is no need to test coz when the engineers who designed it, probably tested MANY times in the wind tunnel as well as in real life to make it perfect. 18 miles sounds shaddy!

You guys are nuts. At the very least, the dealership drones depreciate the value of YOUR car when they choose to drive it long distances for no reason. At the very worst (and very likely), they're beating the hell out of the car. You can bet the 400 miles an earlier post reported were 400 HARD miles.
I'm just amazed that anyone would just accept that the dealer used up a tank of gas and "demo'd" their car for hundreds of miles. I'd drive that sucker through the front window of the dealership before I'd drive off complacently.

What's done is done! You should have complained about it when you got the car from them. So if I were you, I would stop and just Enjoy the ride with your new spolier!

Lexus' poop stinks just as much as Ford's, GM's, or Honda's.

Alright, so I called the dealer today and got an explanation. They did sub this out to a contractor and had to deliver the car to them. They apologized for not mentioning this up front and asked that I bring it back it so they can look at the spoiler install. They said they'll take care of it if it isn't right, so they're trying anyway.

I know, I've done all I can in terms of reporting it to Lexus HQ the dealer manager and all that, but they didn't seem to care one bit. And the nearest Lexus dealer is about 300 something miles away in Tucson, AZ.
