Cool Front windshield defogger

Whenever my front windshield is fogged up, I would turn on the front defroster and it'll work great, but in the bottom part of the middle of the windshield (where the middle front speaker is), theres a section OUTSIDE the front windshield that fogs up and it would only go away if I turn on the wipers. does anyone else have that problem also and why is that??? thanks

It means the condensation is on the outside. The cold air coming out from the vents have caused this. This is more likely to happen when the air outside is humid... Think of it like a cold drink in a glass. When the glass becomes cold, the air surrounding the glass condensates...

it occured occasionally in my previous car, a toyota supra. Having said that, I rarely put the defogger on for any great length of time. Typically, a minute or two is all that is required to clear the inside glass. If the inside of the car is humid (e.g. if you were caught in the rain and your clothes are damp), and you need to turn the a/c on, just turn the temperature up a bit and it will mix warmer air with the a/c. This should prevent it condensating on the outside.

thanks for the suggestion, but in the mornings and nights in california are normal for the windows to fog up and that's why i'm using it and it keeps doing that in that little section with the settings you mentioned above.
