hid install questions
Hey, guys. New to the club, and don't know much about anything. Read the beginner FAQ, did a few searches (both were extremely helpful). I have a 350is without HID's and want to install them. Seems that a lot of people buy hid kits? My main question is do I have to buy new housing for the hid's, and if so, where do I get them? A friend of mine told me that without the proper housing for the hid's the lights won't look as "clean." Since I don't know jack I was hoping you guys could help me out. Thanks a lot.

You will have almost everything you need in the kit whether it's from Xenondepot or others. You will need tools such as a 1" hole saw, ratchet with long neck, and your normal tools. Muzzman posted a very helpful thread. The HID bulbs will go in the exisitng housing replacing the halogen bulbs. If you are handy and can follow instructions, you should be able to do it within an hour. PM me if you have any other questions.
