Default TPMS question

So I decided to get wheels and wasnt interested in putting in the sensor on the new wheels. I called the dealer and talked to an advisor to see if I can just disable the sensor in the car all together. I was told even though if i dont use the sensor on the new wheels the light would come on for a few days and will eventually turn off by itself and wont come on again. Can anyone verified if this is correct. thanks

so what you saying is that the light will stay on forever until it receives a signal from the wheel sensor? oh yeah...Lexus of Westminster quoted me $140 each for the sensor before taxes...I wonder if you can strap all 4 sensors in the spare tire.

if you want to strap them on your spare why dont you strap them on your rims. usually those who don't want tpms is because their wheels won't accept them

TPMS require a pressure signal in order to clear the light, you would have to put them in pressurized container to prevent the dash lights from coming on. As ihkskim said pressurized pipe or wheel barrow wheel.
